Just yesterday, the CEO of Xiaomi has released a surprising post on Weibo releasing the number of Xiaomi Mi 2 and Mi 2S devices that are still in use today. The number was a breathtaking 5 million devices.
This is even more surprising when we take a look at the devices as they were released back in 2012. The Mi 2 only has a tiny 4.3″ display and a not so powerful chipset. (it was good at the time of course.)
The CEO was surprised too, so he asked the fellow users to tell him why these devices are so popular in the year of 2017.
But let’s get back to the story you came here for.
