Google’s newest version of Android is expected to be available soon. Exact release dates are not given but a new report suggests something new.

A new report suggests that the new Android 8.0 version should debut on 21 August. This comes from the famous leakster Evan Blass. He claims that Google will release the new Android on the day of the solar eclipse. (which by the way hasn’t happened for a very, very long time in the United States)

Apparently, Google seems to know about the last time a Solar Eclipse has happened in the U.S. and wants to surprise everyone with an event, on which they are said to be releasing the new Android version.

On 21 August, Google will finally reveal the name of the operating system. Any guesses on what it will be called? We hope Google has managed to license “Oreo”, but nothing is known at this time unfortunately.

Even if the new Android OS update will not be released on 21 August, we should expect to see it this month, so at least it shouldn’t be very long till the end of the month.

What are your thoughts? Will Google release the update on the much awaited solar eclipse? What name would you give to the new Operating System? Let us know in the comments down below!
