The Sony Xperia XZ1 has been leaked all around lately, today we get to see the official press renders of the upcoming flagship device from Sony.

The images show off the design, new camera placement, the ‘old’ fashioned front design and the colour options.

As you can see above, the Xperia XZ1 will be very similar to the previous generation of Xperia flagship devices. The front will have plenty bezels on the top/bottom and even on the left/right side next to the display.

Another ‘Pink’ colour has also been revealed by the images, see below.

The back of the device clearly shows the new camera and sensor placement. The NFC will also get a new place, moving from the top, front of the device to the back next to the camera.

The dedicated camera button will stay on the right side, just as the fingerprint sensor. However, the volume up/down buttons will move up above the fingerprint/lock button. This should hopefully resolve some unexpected, accidental presses on the camera button when trying to adjust the volume.

We have covered the Xperia XZ1 in detail and have already told you what to expect specification wise and price wise. The Xperia XZ1 Compact has also been fully revealed, read more about it if you are interested.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 will be announced at Sony’s IFA event in Berlin at the end of this month along with the smaller Xperia XZ1 and the X1 mid-ranger.
