The much awaited Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL might just have been confirmed by Google itself. Google has posted a small video on Twitter as well as started advertising in its own unique way to catch attention.
Evan Blass – the famous leakster – has revealed last month that the new Google Pixel 2 flagships would arrive on 5 October.
Google has released a new campaign both on billboards and over its Social Media pages, Google Search that “Answers are coming” with a date of “October 4”.
Knowing all of this, it’s safe to assume that Google will finally unveil the next generation of Google Pixel devices on 4 October.

In other news, it has been confirmed by papers that the XL (larger) version of the new Pixel devices will be manufactured by LG.
Also, by tearing down the Google app, it has recently leaked some important information about what to expect from the new Pixel 2 devices.
According to the sources, the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will have ‘Squeeze’ features similar to what we can find on the HTC U 11.
Features you can do by squeezing your phone:
- Squeeze to trigger Google Assistant
- Program a phrase into Google Assistant to perform multiple tasks simultaniously
- You might be able to add more voices to control certain things.
