OnePlus 5 seems to have leaked once again and this time it seems like we are looking at the real deal. The front has been leaked along with the full specification sheet.
According to Geekbuying the new OnePlus 5 will have a new metal, all-black design featuring the same 5,5″ QHD Amoled display, powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset, 8GB RAM and 64GB of on-board storage with expandable storage. This is something new as we have not yet seen OnePlus allowing their users to expand the storage with their on SD cards.
It is likely that we are going to see 128 and 256GB storage option available although the shopping website does not go into detail to explain if they are going to have it.
The fingerprint sensor can be seen just below the massive, bezel-less display. It is likely that we are going to be seeing the same button-less design featuring only the sensor and perhaps including some nice gestures to control the phone including: swipe to pull down notification bar, back and home.
The camera is said to be a dual combination although the leak only specifies a 23MP rear and 16MP front facing shooter. It’s expected to come with an even higher, 4000mAh battery while still maintaining a slim thin design. System wise, it will have the latest Android 7.1 while having Oxygen OS on top of it, Oneplus’ lightweight custom skin.
For now, we can only assume that the dual camera on the back will have iPhone or LG like features including portrait mode or a nifty wide-angle compatibility.
The new flagship killer is a dual nano sim device. According to the source, both of them are 4G capable but if they are both turned on, only one of them will be able to operate in 4G while the other one will only has WCDMA support.
According to the website, the device will cost $622, £500, EUR 573 which is still much cheaper than the competitors.
