Samsung’s Bixby digital assistant has launched in the United States last month and it is now available worldwide.
One thing worth’s mentioning is that the Assistant is only available in US English and Korean. It is however in any countries.
If you are in the UK, Australia, Canada you should be fine, but the Assistant is currently very sensitive to the accent, so keep that in mind.
If you want to get the Assistant and all of the features, you may need to change your device’s language for let’s say: from UK English to US English in order to activate the Assistant. (after changing the language, it may take a few hours and you may need to restart your device 1-2 times in order to get the update)
At the time of writing this, it is unknown when other languages are going to gain support for the service. Samsung is currently working on adding more languages and integrating into third party applications, so you could use it effortlessly with voice-commands.
If you have a Samsung Galaxy S8 or a Galaxy S8+ model, press the Bixby button on the left side in order to start setting up Bixby.
