Xiaomi has officially confirmed the date when their next generation of Mi Mix 2 will be revealed.

The Mi Mix 2 will be officially revealed on 11 September in China.

Nothing else is confirmed to our knowledge, but this is something to look forward to at least.

Renders and rumors suggest that the device will have a massive 6.4″ bezelless AMOLED display with QHD resolution. The bezels are expected to be significantly smaller compared to the last year’s Mi Mix.

The device is expected to come with MIUI 9 on top of Android 7.1.1.

It will most likely be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. It is unsure if it will be expandable via a MicroSD card slot.

The battery should be 4500 mAh to power the massive screen and the powerful internals.

Rumors say that the Mi Mix 2 will have a similar dual camera setup that we can find on the company’s flagship device – the Mi 6.
