Xiaomi has recently confirmed that it will update a few of their devices to their latest MIUI 9 software.

Some Xiaomi have already received the update, but more devices are currently in the queue. It’s important to mention that MIUI 9 is still only based on Android 7.0 Nougat, however seeing that Xiaomi plans to update some 2-6 years old devices – that’s impressive considering the fact that most manufacturers tend to give 1-2 major Android releases to their mid-high-end devices – while some low-end ones stay in the cold.
